Happy Thanksgiving, Turkeys!

Gobble, gobble, hey!

So what are you kids doing this Thursday/today?

I'm heading over to my sister's house with my sick cat (and Gia) to have a hella good time. I made wasabi garlic mashed potatoes and some regular old sour cream and chive mashers for the big event. That's the way we roll. Everyone brings a dish. My sister provides the bird, we provide the rest of the dishes. Beat that with a dead bird!

And I'm making this special after-dinner cocktail with vanilla brandy, bourbon and a simple syrup made from orange peel and chipotle peppers. Spicy!!!

I pretty much fucking rule.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

How's about posting your potato recipes? I cannot seem to master mashed potatoes, of all things!
    Also, the drink recipe.
Um, so you'll have something to blog about tomorrow.

Anyway - Happy Thanksgiving! Going to my parents and eating like a ravenous Jabba. Yay!

  6. All I can think to say here is, "Hot like wasabi when I bust rhymes/I'm like Leanne Rimes..." I don't even like that song very much.

Anyway, I had a shitty Thanksgiving because everyone got sick and we had to cancel our trip to New Orleans. And, I have to say, I don't appreciate everyone just going on and having a good time like nothing happened. ;-)
    Happy Thanksgiving.

Doggie - that seems about right.

    Heff - Thanks, "Heff". :)

Beach Bum - Oh...it is. Recipe to follow.

Faiqa - That sucks. Being sick on a holiday AND missing out on a trip to New Orleans? Brutal. Hope everyone is feeling better.
