That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the funny. And Marc Maron, in his weekly podcast where he interviews some cool folks, brings the funny. His latest interview is with Kevin Smith, and as critical as I have been about Kevin Smith the filmmaker, I'll never get tired of hearing him talk about being a filmmaker. Or about getting kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight. Or about getting high with Seth Rogan.
This particular interview made a few waves in the Celebrity News sites this week because he kinda said that Bruce Willis was a dick when they worked together on Cop Out last year. Not that he hasn't said that before, but in the past he never specifically used Willis' name. Now it's out there. Your move, John McClane.
Welcome to the party, pal! |

"...a beaten man..." - hahaha.
Bruce Willis kinda seems like a dick, to me. It's kind of his appeal and yet, not. Weird.
I suppose the cold is your excuse for that box of man sized tissues...
Suspected as much.
LOVE the WTF. Just finished the Rob Cordry. Haven't heard the Kevin Smith yet, but now I am even more eager to hear it.
The cop movie was the first of Smith's movies that I was not excited to see, still have not seen it.
p.s.- Hope you feel better.
i have absolutely NO DOUBT that Bruce Willis is a first class ass-hat in person. Even when trying to be human in interviews, he comes off that way so god help him when the cameras are off.
He's certainly not the fun-loving, David Madison from Moonlighting anymore...
Sybil - I knew that joke wouldn't be lost on some folks. ;)
Wabbit - Ahem, of course.
Paticus - it wasn't awful. I mean, it was awful...but at least Tracy Morgan was funny.
Slyde - that's a blast from the past. David Madison, eh? Did you see Bruce Willis at the Golden Globes? Gervais introduced him by crediting all his screen failures and Willis tried to say something smarmy, but stumbled all over it. Total dick move.
I hope you're on the upswing from the cold.
I watched the clip yesterday and didn't think anything of it. I think it's blown out of proportion. I've seen Kevin's stand-up show and he says similar things about everyone. This just wasn't even newsworthy to me. Of course a veteran actor doesn't want to be told how to do his job, who does? :D
Poppy - Yeah, it's really not news. But the Marc Maron interview is worth listening to. Hey...did you see my picture of Wolowitz and Wolowitz yesterday?
