It's not particularly often I mourn actors, a singularly self-obsessed bunch of people. But Ricardo Montalban... He was a hell of a man, not just an actor. Like Paul Winfield, those that are familiar with his achievements on and off screen will remember him for a long, long time.

yeah, i was saddened last night when i heard the news.
i just always had a vibe from him that he wasnt a typical pompous actor, and a real old-school gentlemen...
"Armando" from Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes has passed.
Heff - yeah, I was looking at his credits and I had forgotten his Planet of the Apes work. I miss those trashy movies.
He did it with a certian style and panache, doncha think?
I miss him already.

And I like the new look blog very much, by the way.
I need to have my recliner re-upholstered in rich Corinthian Leather as a tribute.
