BREAKING NEWS: The British are weird, funny.

This video made the rounds on the Internets last week. It's from a BBC show called "All the Small Things" and it is truly odd. Imagine a choir doing an a capella version of Blink 182's song "What's My Age Again?". Now imagine a dwarf rocking a solo in the middle of it.

Now imagine you are watching a video of all that shit.

Hat tip to the kids at Warming Glow for posting this last week.

Note: Remember to play the Bug-Eyed Trivia Challenge every day. All the dwarf soloists are doing it.

Nice!Thanks for sharing that.

that was pretty awesome! But it would have been way cooler if Blink182 were sitting in the audience watching! hehe

Jimmy - But a singing dwarf always makes me smile.

Michelle - Happy happy.

2abes - I hope you do. ;)

Paticus - Thank the College Humor folks.

Cissa - The show apparently has something to do with them. Or the title refers to a song of the same name. Something.

I haven't come across that before, but there are quite a few relatively famous British TV personalities in that clip.

Best dwarf I've seen all day!

Verdant Earl said...

Heff/Simon - you have something nice to say?

Slyde/Paula - figures that you would pick the woman to impersonate.

Jenn - The dwarf didn't keep you interested?

Diva - that was my favorite part too. ;)

Mapstew - Heya! Me too!

I suppose that this would have been 'more' entertaining had I heard the Blink 182 song in the beginning, but even though I haven't, it is still pretty darn entertaining. It made me sad that the British can do this sort of thing so well, and the best that America seems to come up with is Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs. The production value and camera work in this clip are pretty high. There have to have been at least 4 seperate takes of the song to get all the camera angles used. Not to mention the rehersing, acting, etc... The British obviously take their television much more seriously than we do.

Bruce - I've been watching this British show called "The League of Gentlemen" on Netflix lately. It's brilliant.

Wil - exactly!

There is something terribly "off" about non-Americans. I LOVE how strange the Brits are especially. And the Aussies.

Tabbie - Off in a great way, right?

We are weird and funny, aren't we...

This explains our cottage cheese fascination.

Verdant Earl said...

Poppy - I always thought you were from France. ;)

Poppy said...

I get that a lot...

I'm English all the way back to an unknown amount of generations.

The France thing was a joke from, I think, RW, when I didn't want to say where I was from but wanted to generally refer to it.

And, um, when are you and Gia going to drink beer with me and Dawg? I think we should do that. Ya know, when Dawg is up for a night of carbs. :D

Verdant Earl said...

Poppy - It's going to be difficult to drag Gia away from our new addition. WE GOT ANOTHER NEW KITTEN TODAY!!! But as soon as she is up for it, we are in! I've got the perfect place picked out and everything!

Verdant Earl said...

Poppy - oh, and I knew about the France thing. I was only kidding. I'm Irish for as far back as anyone in my family can trace. But I won't hold that against you. ;)

I´m in Spain at the moment. They have upside down question marks.

How weird is that?

Poppy said...

Dude, I live with a German. I'm not supposed to like them, but I sleep with one. :p

NEW KITTEN?!?!?!?! PIKSHUrES!!!!!!!
