Feel free to replace the Dickel with any kind of bourbon (Evan Williams, perhaps) or some rum (Pusser's is a good one, Hell...it was good enough for the British Navy!). Use half a lime and a bunch of ice in a large cocktail glass. It's kinda like a Moscow Mule, but I don't do vodka. And with the rum it is kinda like a Dark and Stormy, but I don't really like Gosling's Black Seal Rum all that much. So we call it the Ring-a-Ding, for some reason.
Repeat as necessary. Enjoy!

How is Dickel? I've seen it but I've never had it.
Looks great, and refreshing.
i'm with you fellas!sounds delish! any excuse to dance with small batch bourbons, sugar! xoxo
Zibbs - It's great. And everyone else drinks JD, so I like to make this my Tennessee whiskey of choice. Not much of a choice actually. Dickel and Jack are the only two Tennessee whiskeys on the market.
Heff - It is very refreshing.
Savannah - I dig me some small batch for sippin', but when I'm mixin' I go with the big boys.
Some day we will drink together.
Uncool - we will definitely make that happen one of these days.
I had a vodka shot on saturday!! Well more like 3 oz!
Michelle - I don't get vodka or vodka shots. I like my booze to taste like something other than alcohol. Blech.
Can I replace the bourbon with a vodka or gin? Dark alcohols don't mix well with me anymore.
