THIS is the best headline for a story ever!
And the world breathed a huge sigh of relief. Maybe she should ask Christina Aguilera to be the Watson to her Sherlock. I'd watch that movie.
I wonder if she's gonna bring that creepy baby with her. Yikes.

I totally love Shakira. The cover for "Oral Fixation" is quite clever and unique.
The Immigration laws are a bit weird in Vienna. Perhaps she wouldn't mind popping over to take a look.
I'm on her side. What baby?
i have wanted to do naughty things to Shakira since the first time i ever saw her on tv.
they involve a salt shaker, a donkey, and a sombrero....
Princess - Heya! It works for me.
Badger - I'll update her agenda. ;)
RW - I'm on her side too.
Slyde - A donkey? Good God, man!
Shakira just doesn't call to me. Lack of mysterious edge I guess. Lack of dark cloud I guess. She's so squeaky clean sexy. Organic sexy though.
But, um, that is cover of her album? And THAT's what the teenagers are buying at Walmart!!!??
HOLY CRAP!!!
things have sure changed since I was buying cassette tapes!
Shakira investigates. That should sort things out.
Very reassuring, I'm sure you'll agree.
I cannot STAND Shakira! If she sings, I'm sending out someone on the grassy knoll!
Holly - besides that one popular song she had a while ago, I have no earthly clue about her music. I have a friend from Colombia she reminds me of a bit, though.
Wabbit - I can finally sleep at night.
Sybil - see my above comment to Holly. No clue about her music.
yeah, see, i think i might watch that movie as well.
and i would hope for an informative and detailed review on your blog.
I was so happy when I heard she was coming here. That will fix things right up nicely. No more racism in my State. Thanks Shakira. Ahem
Duderino - It'll be playing tonight in my dreams.
Kevin - You are so lucky! In New York, all we get is the odd Lindsay Lohan visit. OK...that's not ALL we get, but...
As long as she shakes her ass, I'M IN !
Unless you actually live here, (as I do), you can't really appreciate just how surreal this state is, or how totally fucked up government is here. Our famous county sherrif (Joe Arpiao) has on ongoing fued with the County Board of Supervisors and has arrested ALL of them for corruption, only to have a judge release them all for lack of evidence....so Sherriff Joe arrested them all AGAIN, and they were released again by the courts....this has happened 3 times in the last year. And to top it all off, polls show that Sherrif Joe would win, if he ran for governor...slick aye?
This isn't the first time there have been immigration laws passed here. It has happened several time in the last 50 years, only back then society wasn't so politically correct, or the latino sub-culture so vocal. Every time the U.S. has experieced and economic turn down, the knee-jerk reaction is to look for someone to blame or focus anger on....(Hitler did it with the Jews during the 1930s worldwide recession). We usually do it with the hispanics. Just google "Operation Wetback" to see what I mean....a fun little excercise the Feds pulled back in the 50s.
Much like my job, living here in Arizona is like being trapped in a sitcom with no laugh track. Shakira is the only good thing to come out of it so far.
