You've, um, seen it right? Watching De Niro in this film will make you weep for just about everything he's done since. He should have just retired instead. He's that good.
Enjoy!

Great movie, my favorite though is Goodfellas.
Beach Bum - Heya! Great movie. I just can't watch it over and over like with some of the other films I love. Like Midnight Run.
Thanks for reminding me of that great funny movie. I'll watch it again soon.
Adding you to my blogroll, going to head back down to Charleston myself in a few weeks. After a few weekends of mandatory yard work.
LOVE De Niro!!
That's a great movie.
My favorite movie of all-time. Too many favorite scenes to pick just one.
MikeB - I'd almost like to see a Midnight Run 2 with another team up of Grodin and De Niro. But it would be crap. This one is special.
Beach Bum - It's a great city.
Sybil - Gia was arguing that this is De Niro finest movie. It's hard to ignore Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, etc..., but it's right up there.
Seals - Hey! Yeah, I seem to remember how much you loved this film.
Great movie. Grodin is brilliant in this too. Especially in this scene.
"Are you Red?
Do you dye your hair?"
Paticus - "It's short for Redwood. My last name's Wood."
I've never actually seen this movie.
Adam - Highly recommended. Pure fun in an 80's kinda way.
I recently picked this film up on LaserDisc in a lot of discs that I found in an old Goodwill store. I have yet to watch it, but since it has that Scorsese / DeNiro configuration, I assume it must at least be watchable. I have to admit that in the small clip you posted, Grodin seems to outshine DeNiro.
Bruce - oh he definitely steals that particular scene. A bunch of other ones too. But DeNiro is excellent throughout. They both are.
