Run, Rabbit. Run.

I really don't know what to say about this short film from Run Wrake. It is awful and it is wonderful at the same time. Picture those reading primers from the 50's or 60's and then imagine that Satan got his cloven hoofs on them. This might be the result. Creepy.

Warning: Very disturbing and long. View at your own risk. - Earl

You can thank the kids at FILMDRUNK for your nightmares this evening.

Random Wiki: Priyasakhi is the very first Indian film translated into Zulu. If the video clip above didn't blow your mind, then I'm sure this nugget of trivia must have.

Huh.

My sound was off (didn't want to wake the others) so I might have missed something.

Well, I think the idea is somewhat original. To use the 'primers' to illustrate the danger of overusing an idol's power. Very unattractive.

I thought the slicing in half of the creatures was, well, cool. They weren't real so I felt ok enjoying the detailed anatomy drawings.

I thought it a bit much, the ending. No need to have the kids gobbled up by bugs. There just is no call for that.

Overall, it looks like your basic morality lesson. I believe the lesson was, if you overuse your resources for nefarious gain, you will get nothing but ugly in the end. Or- ye reap what ye shall sow.

Is it wrong that I think this is kinda funny? the animation and the words next to stuff is just too hilarious.

RW - If that means you are wrong, then I don't wanna be right. :)

i'm sure there's some sort of morality lesson there somewhere,....but all i can think of is bugs.... ::shudder::

Slyde - yes you do.

Diva - the moral of the story is that you shouldn't use really sharp knives to slice innocent animals in half just for a new muff (hehe) or some jewels, feathers and ink. Or else a golden idol will get medieval on your ass! I think. Might have had something to do with underage driving. I can't be sure. My head hurts.

ookami/ajooja - "Um" is probably the best response to it. That's what I thought.

It reminded me of those dick and jane books they crammed down our throats in kindergarten. If they had been more like this I would have spend less time at recess and more time reading.

This was horrifying in the best way possible!

Holy crap! Dick and Jane killed Fluff, became materialistic little schemers and then got devoured by bugs! Serves those little bastards right. LOL. This actually was quite creepy. But also unusual and funny. Thanks for sharing your find.

CP - Heya! And I think that is exactly where they came from.

Teeni - I just wanted to make sure I wasn't having an acid flashback. ;)

I noticed it was a cricket bat, placing the action in the UK. I was mesmerized.
