- Pardon my French, but you're an asshole!
- Don't ask me to participate in your stupid crap if you don't like the way I do it.
- You heartless wench!
- Mint.
- Why don't you put your thumb up your butt?
- You killed the car.
- It's been in my pocket. They're real warm and soft.

I find myself saying "What country do you think this is?" a lot, whether it's appropriate or not. I just love the way that line is delivered.
i never give my real name at restaurants when they are putting me on a waiting list. of course i've totally used abe froman, but i always crack a huge smile...can't keep a straight face to save my fucking life.
i don't remember the "you heartless wench" line. might need to rewatch the movie.
my uncle named one of his dogs ferris. i loved calling that little fucker to come inside: bueller. bueller. bueller.
heehee
LOVE that movie!
Oooooohhhhhh.... The music playing in the gallery sequence is Dream Theater's instrumental cover of The Smiths' Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want. Gorgeous, lovely.
That movie was also the first time I saw Edward Hopper's Nighthawks.
Ferris has a lot to answer for.
My most used/adapted quote: "If you put a piece of coal up his ass, in two weeks you would have a diamond."
It's been so long since I've seen this movie, I don't even REMEMBER any quotes.
"So THAT'S how it is in their family"
says the principal to his secretary after Sloan meets up with her Daddee.
;)
What?
He's a righteous dude.
:)
WLC - Oh yeaaaaaah.
Savannah - glad to do it!
Paticus - I'm a bit obsessed with that actor, Richard Edson. Did you know he was the original drummer fro Sonic Youth?
Becky - It was when Jennifer Grey hit the collection can out of that geek's hand when he was looking for money to "Save Ferris". :)
Suzi - me too!
badger - that's a good one, but it doesn't find it's way into my everyday conversation like the others.
Heff - I remembered them, I just didn't remember where I remembered them, um, from. What?
Holly - that's a good one.
RW - exactly.
Sybil - I find it hard to believe that Edie McClurg was only about 35 when she made that film. She also played a teenager in Carrie. Man, she always looked older.
Maybe I just know more uptight people than you...
