I'm thinking about running a small contest here on The Verdant Dude for the Halloween season, but I'm not sure I have enough readers (::sniff::) to make it worthwhile. A good old-fashioned Jack-o'-Lantern carving contest.

While hardly and expert, I have been known to carve a mean Jack-o-Lantern. My Obama Pumpkin got rave reviews last year (not to mention scaring the pants off the neighborhood republicans.)

I must say this is the best idea I've heard in weeks on how to celebrate Hall O'Wayne. I hardly even know you and you've outdone yourself to go to these lengths. I truly appreciate it.
