Didn't I, my dear?

Mumford & Sons. Dig. This is what I'm listening tonight.

Banjo happens!

Little Lion Man
Mumford & Sons

Weep for yourself, my man
You'll never be what is in your heart
Weep little lion man
You're not as brave as you were at the start
Rate yourself and rape yourself
Take all the courage you have left
Wasted on fixing all the problems
That you made in your own head

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn't I, my dear?

Tremble for yourself, my man
You know that you have seen this all before
Tremble little lion man
You'll never settle any of your score
Your grace is wasted in your face
Your boldness stands alone among the wreck
Learn from your mother
Or else spend your days biting your own neck

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn't I, my dear?

Hadn't listened to this in awhile...Thank you for bringing back to the front of my brain. Great tune!

Sybil - right?

Paticus - I'm slow to the take with new music. Even though this came out in 2009, I'm only just getting into it now.

Earl- I hear ya. The only place I hear anything new is on Letterman, that's why I had heard of these guys. My opinion is, doesn't so much matter when you hear it, as long as you hear it.

That is a catchy little ditty. My fav radio station here places a lot of M&Sons. Good stuff.

ya know, i listen to this song, and i don't think dude is sorry for what he did, AT ALL!!

it bothers me, i mean, he writes this song, sings it, then really, when you listen HE ISN'T SORRY!!

i wrote a whole blog about it. well, pasted the video and stated my opinion that he wasn't apologizing with this song.

i find it sarcastic, this whole song.

i still love it pieces though. infact, i've become quite enamored with their album :)

I ove this album. "The Cave" is now getting a lot more play that "Little Lion Man" did.
