PS - I pretty much hate everyone in the band now, especially Ian Astbury. He look like a fool. So almost all of them. Except Billy Duffy on lead guitar. He's fucking harsh!
I'm with Heff! Not fond of this particular song. Hmmm... favorite song? Man - that's hard. I keep thinking Van Halen, anything off the Fair Warning album. Definitely an 80's kid here.
Heff - I have no idea what a flanger effect is, but I like the sound of it.
Sybil - My favorite Van Halen albums were Van Halen II and Van Halen, in that order. Fair Warning and Women and Children First are tied for third. Diver Down and 1984 after that. And fuck that Van Hagar shit!
I'm a big Cult fan for 4 of their albums: Love, Electric, Sonic Temple and Ceremony. Of those, Love (which is where She Sells Sanctuary is on) was one of the many album I played non-stop in 1985. To this day, I can track that album from start to finish and not get tired of it.
And of course with the above song, I always stop to listen when it's played on the radio.

The Cult had some pretty good shit, although I'm not really keen on songs that are heavy on the guitar chorus and/or flanger effects.
Gimme straight distortion and wah-wah pedal, and I'm good to go.
