Welcome to Internet

There is this awesome power to the Internet.  It's really just so amazing.  Pretty much any clip from anything...we can find that.  Need a song?  Bippity boppity bacon!  Need a recipe?  Oh yeah.  The other day I wanted a screen grab from a movie that I was doing a review of and within a minute or so, I had the exact scene queued on Netflix and bam!  Got that shit!

How often do you go onto the Internet and NOT find what you are looking for?  It just doesn't happen.  Because you can find everything (except maybe happiness...there's some debate on that) on the Internet.

I'm thinking about making this site my home page.

That is all.

It's sort of...you know...minimalist

RW - Maybe just my own browser home page then. ;)

Badger - I'm all about that! :)

So you are going to get rid of your current home page (www.boys4rent.com)?

Suzi - INTERNET!!!

Savannah - Backatcha.

Slyde - I know, it's a dilemma. How would I get my Slyde updates without going to boys4rent.com every day? I guess you could just email me every day. Hmmm...

Not true! I cannot find some drug movie we watched in 6th grade about the perils of drugs... There's a talking hot dog, and although I can easily find some 60's version in black and white, I can't seem to find the one everyone remembers!
It's really pissing me off!

INTERNET!

FOR THE MOST PART, I've found everything I've ever looked for, but every once in awhile something obscure I'll look for won't be there. As the 'net continues to grow, eventually I think you WILL be able to find ANYTHING you're looking for.

I created for myself a portal page with all of my links on it. Sometimes it's cool having your own domain.

i found Mr. Hall on the internet.

Sybil - I'm on it! INTERNET!

Heff - The obscure becomes common once it hits the search engines. And I dig that.

Steph - Or do you prefer SK nowadays? So it's just a page with all of your personal links, or all your common links? Either way...cool!

Holly - Did someone lose him? ;)

RW - I haven't tried every variation yet, but I'm working on it.

This is so true...at every gathering I have with my friends, someone at some point (or many many points) will pull out their smartphone and google something to prove a point. It's a little annoying, but it's sometimes very convenient.
