Gia went out today for some emergency provisions in anticipation of the doom that may be Irene this weekend.

That's the spirit! That's what we do during tornado season because, unlike you, we get no warnings. The drinking always comes after it's over and our nerves are frayed.

Got no power up here in CT for the next few days probably, (if I say that enough it means the power will come back sooner right? RIGHT?), but I did lay in some Lagunitas Ale earlier, so I probably won't care come sundown.

We go to a hotel last night cuz the kids have school todsy. Wouldnt u know, the power came on last night.
I'm not complaining. Even though the hotel fire alarm went on at 6:50 this morning and we had to evacuate.
Candy - That's what would happen if we ditched for a hotel too. As of right now, we are in Day 4 of no power. Fun, fun, fun!
