knew I had to make immediately. I remarked that it seemed like more of a chili than a stew, so I made some slight changes to the recipe.
- I couldn't find the particular chorizo that I wanted, so I went with a lamb merguez sausage instead. Very mild, but with an incredible taste.
 - Since it "felt" like a chili to me, I couldn't help but add a can of peeled San Marzano tomatoes.

I haven't made it in years, but now I'm dying for that Onion Soup/bread pudding thing! My mother still talks about how good that was.
An illustrious array of come hither food my bacon-loving friend. I'm currently going through each individual one and taking notes.
For tonight I have chosen to prepare your version of Gaeng Massaman. It has an amazing mixture of the most mouth watering ingredients and will go down a treat in my house this evening. Also on the go is your Corn, Bacon and Potato Chowder recipe. It sounds delicious.
Many thanks for each of these recipes sir, I shall also pass them across to my good friend Anthony (Cafe Chef) whom I am just about to go into a business partnership with.
News just in from the dining room, excellent feedback on both dishes, cleaned plates and satisfied stomachs. I tip my hat to you sir. Many thanks.
So much YUM!!
Chef - Excellent. Glad you enjoyed. That Massaman dish is a favorite of ours. A business partnership, eh? Intrigued I am.
Maurcheen - Making me hungry again just seeing them all up there.
i just ate and you still made me hungry...
Becky - I always do. :)
Soupe a l'Oignon Gratinee is on tonights menu my friend. Just as it is, nothing added, straight from the recipe. So far I am liking exactly what I am tasting.
Chef - Excellent. I hope you enjoyed it.
I am so envious - where the fuck did you find a lamb merguez sausage?
Badger - Our local grocery store. Not a mom and pop either. Big old Stop 'n Shop. They've got a small counter of more exotic meats. They've been carrying these for a while now.
Nollaig Shona! :¬)
I hope 2014 proves to be a good year for you and yours!
Just reading the names of those recipes has made me devilishly hungry. And I've just had breakfast. I NEED SPICE.
