King Baby Bacon

A dude who smells like a wet dog told me about some comedy that I just had to include in here on the old Verdant Dude.

Jim Gaffigan is the comedian and bacon is the subject. Anyone who has stopped by here over the past few years knows that bacon is near and dear to my heart. Or near to stopping my heart. One of those.

So my smelly friend felt like this would be the perfect companion piece to some of my earlier entries on bacon. Like this one, or this one, or this one.  I would be inclined to agree.

If you want to get right to the bacony bits, they start at around the 2:15 mark.

BACON!

I love Jim Gaffigan. He never fails to make me laugh His bacon love is mentioned semi-regularly on My Boys since he's on it.

Rachel - I've seen ads for that show, but never watched it. I guess I should.

Avitable - then my work here is done.

Sybil - you promise? ;)

Heff - I've seen some of those. Funny stuff!

2abes - Generally, I will agree with you. But a brand named Louis Rich made a fantastic turkey bacon, however, I haven't seen it at stores in years. It was literally the only turkey bacon worth buying. The rest of them taste awful.

2abes - I just checked and apparently Oscar Meyer purchased the Louis Rich brand name and sells their turkey bacon. Hmmm. I remember the old Oscar Meyer turkey bacon and it sucked balls. I'll have to look for it next time I am at the market for another try.
